Pros

- Company has some good benefits (Decent health insurance, student loan repayment assistance, wellness credit, unlimited PTO) - Opportunities to move within the organization - Flexible work environment

Cons

- Managers don’t seem to have a good grasp on how to manage remotely - Compensation is below market - Culture has disappeared since going remote - If you aren’t performing over 100%, you’re considered to be failing

Disappointing to hear that you felt "expendable." We are fully committed to our team members, and our rate of highly tenured employees (10 yrs+) reflects that. One of our values is keeping score, and we focus on performance. We also practice feedback and give our team members opportunities for development. I appreciate the feedback regarding management and challenges with our culture since going remote. We are actively working on those areas - leading in a hybrid world and bringing our teams together again. Thank you for the years you spent with us.

Killing the goose

Pros

Pay, benefits, internal tools, are very good, company culture is positive.

Cons

Private equity holding drives short term gains at the expense of quality, morale and long term success of the company. Indefensible product riddled with bugs and content is unreliable. Internal silos and defensive product and engineering teams prevent product quality. Internal messaging does not match actions and unrealistic goals set by management. No work life balance. Very high stress, angry customers and internal management that lacks competence and experience. No career paths.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. I know you posted this back in April, and a lot has changed since then, including a re-org and re-focus on our Go to market, Products, and Engineering teams. I am disappointed to hear that you are struggling with work-life balance, and I hope these things have changed since you posted. If not, I encourage you to work with my team to discuss how we can help. We are focused on employee well-being, hybrid working, and work-life balance as part of that. While we are PE-owned and always have been, that doesn't impact our commitment to building great products and creating a great place to work.

Pros

I liked working with many of my peers. They had some really good folks working there at the time. Many of the good ones have left.

Cons

Management was not focused on their employees only on their own career development. No growth opportunities. They have started to let go many of their top people recently and they are struggling to keep up in the market.
