Pros

-Free door dash they cover you $15 on your meal so with delivery/tip you’ll typically pay $5 out of pocket which isn’t too bad.

Cons

-This company is hilarious the way they operate. They call themselves a tech company and are the furthest thing from it. They think they’re “revolutionizing” the industry and really there’s 100 other companies doing the same thing and I’ve never seen a worst system than the one we have. -There is absolutely no growth within the company. I’ve worked here for 2 years and there was a huge hiring freeze because I’m pretty sure we’re close to filing for bankruptcy not to mention I got the worst raise I’ve ever seen which wasn’t even close to matching inflation. Just to give you an idea it was a 3% raise in 2years! Like what is that. If anything I got a pay decrease. -Anyone looking at this has also probably seen that we laid off 20% of our workers who were dedicated and have been with the company for a really long time. The worst thing was that they didn’t even tell anyone and started literally locking peoples computers. These were human beings in the middle of a call with a client wondering why their computers no longer worked anymore. It was cause they got fired. People were crying and panicking as it was basically like the purge and they said within the next couple hrs you will either be fired or safe. I’ve never seen anything like it. They even started escorting people out like they were criminals or something and took them out of the building. -You have no idea what team you’ll be working with or who your manager will be or who your clients will be on a bi weekly basis. This isn’t an exaggeration. I can’t tell you how many times my team has switched or how many times my manger has changed or how many clients I have that are constantly changing all the time. -No one knows who to talk to get a raise. I’m not even kidding on this either. I asked my manager if I could talk to him about a raise and then he told me you know let me look into that cause I’m not sure who handles that. I’m like you’re my manager and you don’t know?? Like whutt is this. -Pay super low you’ll probably have to move in with your parents again.

Pros

- Great people - Product market fit is currently solid, but given the amount of churn, that may change soon - Great benefits - Current technological advantage - Offices are top notch - Mission-oriented striving to achieve noble goals

Cons

- Constantly changing expectations with goals that seem to be pulled from nowhere - Consistent changes in Upper Management, VP's and Middle Management meaning every 6-8 months the internal missions, plans, and strategies change. - Lack of accountability within the internal client support teams, which leads to the same issues arising over and over again, causing clients to churn - The most difficult part of the sale is the adoption phase, given that the aforementioned lack of accountability and changing strategy leads to a bunch of grey area. The only way for an account executive to succeed is to take on the role of 4-5 different people and micro-manage everything themselves. The majority of deals fall through the cracks in the handoff phase. - Lack of upward mobility in terms of career progression - While marketing themselves as a tech company, they pay as a Forwarder, meaning you will be making well below the industry average for a SaaS-type seller. - Expectations that you will not have a well-balanced work-life ratio.

Pros

The industry itself is very fascinating and is a hot bed of activity. There is a lot to learn, experience, and hopefully impact for the better.

Cons

The company has struggled to say the least. Up until this year there was no corporate strategy, other than spend money as fast as your can and chant the missions - make trade easy. The most recent (large) down round forced senior management to set a specific, narrow, attainable strategy (and alienated employees who were sold on an IPO). Tech has been largely left unsupervised (sr tech management that is). There is active contempt by tech of the rest of the business (and vice versa since tech doesn't solve their problems). There is no product (software) strategy to speak of and constant generation of solutions looking for problems (most of which the business side never asked for or support). Employee churn is horrible. Tech leadership is filled with ex-Amazonians, each with desperate fiefdoms, so you can imagine how toxic the tech culture is.
