Pros

I have been at the company for 1 year and have grown so much professionally because my manager cares about my professional development. Not a day passes where I don't learn something new and I am respected and valued by all of the stakeholders I work with. Transparency is valued and I am aware of initiatives across the company so I never feel out of the loop. The company is made up of amazing individuals that work very hard and are friendly. We have unlimited PTO, RSUs, and there's a big focus on internal mobility.

Cons

We grew rapidly so we have some room to improve some of the systems/processes in place. At times you can feel out of the loop, but you can resolve this by asking questions to those involved. This can be a good thing because there is some structure, but room to make an impact.

I'm bullish about the long term outlook for the company. Director level leadership and below is generally solid and cares about the people and product. Flexport should come out of the recession a winner. Pay, equity and benefits are decent.

Cons

It's amateur hour VP level and above, which is typical at companies at this stage. Short term ride will be rough so buckle up.
