      Great junior people, a lot of horizontal mobility, culture could be better

      Pros

      I worked with some of the best people at Flexport. There are a ton of young, driven, fun-loving folks. Additionally, if you work the system there are opportunities for horizontal mobility, but you have to get in with the right senior folks to advocate for you.

      Cons

      The exec team did a great job of getting Flexport to the scale that it's at today. Bringing on more people with experience taking a company from startup to IPO would make the company even stronger. If you can play the political game, you can go far at this company relatively quickly. I think that makes it harder for folks who are not as good at working the system, however.

      Pros

      Culture - incredible Autonomy- present Vision- pointed and aligned PTO/Benefits - fantastic Pay- pretty solid Management - I’ve only had the best experience but I work my tail off for my teams

      Cons

      There can be some separation between offices. Need to learn now more than ever how to bridge that gap and standardize global team function
