Great people with a fantastic, young culture. Lots of opportunities and room for growth. Flow really invests time and energy into the people who work there.

Improvement of eduating new employees (both traders and non-traders) about the different facets of the firm.

As the NY office continues to grow we also recognize the importance of a more structured approach to training and development for new hires within the firm. It is always beneficial for our employees to have a strong understanding of our business and the way various teams collaborate with each other on a daily basis. Building on a program originated in our Amsterdam HQ, we will be focusing on rolling out "Flow Academy" within the local offices in 2018. In addition to the core onboarding courses, more in-depth learning for specific business functions will be hosted by subject matter experts within the program. If you have any other suggestions or insight into what you or your colleagues are interested in learning, feel free to stop by the HR office or share with your manager.

Pros

Great work life balance; reasonable hours and essentially no weekend work. There is a very friendly work atmosphere: Even after spending the whole day working together, every day after the close people are playing FIFA or card games in the lounge. Everyone enjoys each other's company It is extremely fast paced and competitive, with no down time during the trading day. There is a ton of room for innovation. If you have a good trading idea, no matter how long you have been at the company, it will get implemented quickly without having to cut through red tape. Great lunches every day, with lots to snack on through the rest of the day as well. Fair and generous bonus pool

Cons

There is not much patience for making repeated mistakes, but that is true at any trading firm.
