      Pros

      Fluor "family" feel, support, teamwork. Fluor maintains a strong, credible ethics and diversity culture, as well as a world class job safety culture.

      Cons

      Can be often compartmentlized in a particular business unit, i.e. difficult to work in areas or on project types for which you have limited experience, despite being technically qualified. Overall, very few cons.

      Pros

      A lot of knowledge can be gained about many, many areas (even outside of your field), a very diverse pool of people, fair pay.

      Cons

      Seemingly unstructured, at times not a clear idea of who really reports to who, performance assessments/reviews need to have more emphasis and when they do more thought needs to be put into them, can be very hard to work with certain people or upper-levels (stubborn mindsets), very old school in many areas making it difficult for change. On that same note, if you're a younger person (<30) it seems you will not have much reputability.

      Pros

      Fluor is a huge company. The organizational structure seems a little fuzzy because there are so many different divisions and the managment reporting structure isn't always consistent with the organizational structure. Overall competent managers. Very fair salary and benefits.

      Cons

      Somewhat conservative "good old boy" culture, probably a product of the construction and engineering industry they're a part of. Did not provide domestic partner benefits.Never received a performance review in the 2 years I was there.
