      Great place to work. Small company growing at a rapid pace.

      Pros

      Benefits are decent, and we seem to be expanding more benefits as we grow. Team environment is positive and lots of well educated, friendly, and honest people. If you ask for help or clarity, everyone is willing to help. Managment team has open door policy but ask that you give the opportunity for your team members to help solve any issues. Typical office politics but not in an unhealthy way. You need to be sharp and dependable as the team standards are high.

      Cons

      Slow to root out negative people with poor attitudes. Because this is process is slow, you will likely carry the load of that poor performer. Lots of projects and programs moving forward amongst the organization so you will sometime have competing priorities to work through. Compartmentalization sometimes can cause delays in your project, but the team really works to deconflict. The company vision is clear, but the individual projects can sometimes drift off course if you're not aligned, so this sometimes causes excess meetings.

      Thanks for taking the time to review the work experience at Fluxergy. We do our best to sniff out underperforming team members and give them a chance to improve. I agree with you that we can do a much better job at spotting those issues more promptly. We’re always implementing new performance metrics to do just that. Synergy is also a great point. We can’t stress enough open communication lines at the company, to improve synergy and goal alignment. I’ll continue to address this with the managers and other team members.

      Pros

      Benefits are good: 99% paid medical for you and family, 100% vision and dental, 15 days PTO, 5 days sick leave, 2 week paid shutdown during Christmas holiday, 401K (but no match), pet insurance discount, employee discount program, annual bonus. There has been a lot of changes since last year and there is more direction from top management. Can see company is trying to incorporate employee suggestions and provide better structure and directions. It is a start up so mistakes have been made along the way. Culture is ok and still start up feel. Employees are friendly and able to work with each other. It's pet friendly which is nice. Have seen employees given opportunity for growth and promotions which is nice. If you are a person that likes to take initiative and given independence (without micromanaging) and able to handle a fast paced environment, then this place is for you. Technology is great and hopefully is the future. A lot of interest in the market for their technology. Most diverse place I have worked. There is variety of ages and races employed at Fluxergy including management team.

      Cons

      Salary is just below or at market. Company is not profitable yet so it makes sense they aren't paying the same as the big guys. It would be nice to have 401K match. Management can use training to improve on communication and managing a team but you can see that they are trying. Not everyone can handle fast paced and constantly changing environment. Fluxergy does move fast on product releases but I can understand they are trying to make more of a mark in the industry.

      Pros

      I never thought a company like Fluxergy existed, but they do! The company does a very good job valuing ideas and voices. The executive team is always looking for ways to advance their employees and has many internal programs to enhance your skills. The employee benefits are amazing! The internal culture shows how hard the executive team works at promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion.

      Cons

      Not necessarily a con but Fluxergy has a very fast paced environment and forever evolving. If you're someone who is not adaptable to change, this may not be the place for you.
