Nice Leasing office -fairly decent bonus structure for the industry.

Cons

I worked at a Fogelman property in 2021 and 2022. I was let go because “it wasn’t a right fit.” I was an hourly employee that constantly received phone calls after hours, when I was on PTO (once while I was attending a funeral)-now that is a reflection of the property manager -not Fogelman. I do want to note that I was NOT a member of maintenance-so there was no need for after hour calls -unless it was an extreme emergency. However when I complained to HR via email there was no response. I worked in property management for over 11 years and have never worked for a company that doesn’t respond to concerns.

Pros

The culture is incredible. They really support their employees and always make you feel valued. They have incredible opportunities for training and growth. They have offered support during the pandemic including additional paid time off. They have more tenured employees than I have ever seen and it really makes you feel like you have an extension of your family.

Cons

I am very fortunate that I am in a city that has additional Fogelman communities. I have been in the situation before where I was the only property and located remotely from other Fogelman properties. This is only a negative in cases where you might need additional on site help. I know they are working on adding additional floating / mentors .
