Pros

Decent pay and decent flexible schedule

Cons

They aren't training new hires well enough putting more work on the staff thats been there longer term. They don't listen to their employees concerns management gets annoyed when employees seek help from other people when management takes too long to respond to important questions. They don't communicate new changes in the system to the team

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We prioritize developing comprehensive training and providing a great support system for our employees, especially when it comes to making new hires feel welcome and prepared for their roles. As we practice an open-door policy, we encourage you to speak with your supervisor if you feel you’re not getting answers quickly enough.

Great Company

Pros

Work Environment is great, everyone is friendly and accommodating, Stress-Free/Low-stress work place, if you are productive you will get the work done (free coffee and games in the break room help a lot too) Management is AWESOME!! Friendly, they care and interact with us employees regularly Overall great company to work at, and Foley will only continue to grow in the industry.

Cons

Some of the training practices were a little outdated, but management is actively working to change this (which I respect) Workplace is small, desks/cubicles are very close together, but there is still still ample space

Thank you for your positive feedback! We're happy to have you as part of the Foley team. It's enthusiastic, positive employees like you that make Foley such a great place to work. Our open floor plan is designed to enable collaboration and provide easy access to all levels of management so that problems can be discussed (and solved) as quickly as possible. By maintaining these open lines of communication and encouraging the exchange of ideas throughout the organization, we're able to address issues and make improvements where needed. This includes our new hire training program, which is constantly being evaluated to ensure we're providing employees with the information and skills needed to excel in their new roles here. Thank you again for taking the time to leave us a review. We hope you have a long, successful career with us.

Pros

They have a very great Cafe! :D

Cons

This is not a place you would want to work for the rest of you life; maybe a few months, but no longer than a year. The workers at this company are unprofessional, inconsiderate, unfriendly, and rude! This company profiles hires and show favoritism. They lure you in as bait with a smile will suddenly change moods on you out of the blue without you having done anything wrong. No matter how neat you dress, how well groomed you are, if you do not meet up to "physically" what they expect, you will not go far; their application ask whether you are "attractive" or not...why does that matter? If you are buff, naturally tough looking (not that you carry yourself intentionally in any manner, or irritated by any means), they will not favor you. On a normal day, you walk into the facility (as a new worker), say hello to whomever you see, they will smirk, frown, turn their heads, and twist their face at you instantly, but will say hello to those they find a strange liking. "Don't judge a book by its cover"; unless someone "says" or "does" something that makes evidence of a problem do not make assumptions. I was hired along with another hire that naturally they've grown to like....because the hire had a friend that already worked there, and the hires lovers' friend worked there too. In this company, no matter how much you greet anyone, they will dislike you. It is not a comfortable environment. They make work policies that workers do not follow. I've seen workers sleeping on the job, slouching on couches (not while on break), making racial jokes to each other, talking to non-clients on work phones (their friends), and most importantly Gossip about other employees. I was a Data Entry Flex Team Member; they set unrealistic quotas(while showing pity on those they like). You will receive scanned application documents from applicants who cannot write legibly, half-fill an application, forget to send forms, incorrectly fill a form, and they expect you to retrieve and correct all information on their applications and input all of it into a "Supremely Slow" program that they dont care to fix. I was terminated because they did not like my work pace, though they do not care to rethink the quotas they are setting for workers, new hires at that. The training is very vague; more of a sit down, follow the paper, go, and don't ask questions. This is no rant, just informing those who are interested before they make their decision. You do not want something bad on your resume because of a company that does not operate courteously.

Thank you for providing your feedback, we regularly read and respond to reviews on GlassDoor as a means to improve our workplace environment and look for any area that we are not meeting our employees’ expectations. While we focus on being a fun place to work and, in general, a relaxed environment for our employees, we strictly adhere to all EEOC hiring and employment rules. Foley Carrier Services is a richly diverse workplace, something which we are extremely proud of. Any discriminatory comments based on appearance or race (as alleged in the review) are not tolerated. Individual appearance is not, nor has it ever been, a factor in the hiring process. We regret that you did not bring any specific complaints to our attention during your time at Foley as we take any transgressions very seriously and investigate accordingly. As to our Flex Program, we regret that you did not find success in this position. While the Flex Program is new, it has been exceptionally successful for the vast majority of participating employees. Several have already moved on to expanded roles and full-time positions. However, we are a performance based organization. While we allow employees to choose their hours, they must commit to working them. Our Flex Program workers perform a vital role helping to improve safety on the nation’s highway system (and yes, sometimes part of the service is helping clients who may have trouble completing their paperwork). We are sorry that Foley Carrier Services was not a good environment for you. We wish you the best of luck in finding a workplace more suitable to your needs.
