      Pros

      you have one department to run but are also an mod of the whole store so you are always runnign around, cant always focus on your own work

      Cons

      multi tasking to much outside of your department that you should not be held accountable for. alot of the mang teams food lion has are second hand managers from other retailers that did not work out so there not as strong or not as caring about the business or the employee. (most store managers are paid for 45 hur week might work 40hours)

      Easy to get time off when needed Job is not hard to perform Co-Workers for the most part are very easy to get along with

      Cons

      No full time options for non department heads/management unless the position is created for someone Very low chance of getting a raise and if you do its only 1% Lunches are given but 10 minute breaks you are supposed to get are never given for front end employees Constant smoke breaks but non front end employess that will walk past you if you are busy and need help to go take their smoke break More and more benifits being cut every year yet management still get's their monthly/Quarter bonus's even though they do little to none of the actual work. Constantly told the things you do wrong/need to improve on but rarely praised for good work. Inconsistant hours

      Pros

      benefits,job,decent pay,flexable..fun place to work, meet new people..to b able to learn the grocery/retail was a great experience for me

      Cons

      stress,to many cheifs,not enough indians..have to basically kill yourself all the time..no help..while the store managers do nothing but push pencils and ride coattails..
