      Pros

      Working at Forrester you are exposed to really great research and have the opportunity to learn on the job. It is amazing how much insight you can get from the research and your colleagues about the reality of business today.

      Cons

      Although the company says its global and produces global research, in reality Forrester is still a US and Western European focused organization. Forrester will never become truly global without further investment and localization in Asian or Eastern European countries.

      Pros

      Still a potent name among enterprise IT buyers and marketers. Affords great networking opportunities for pro-active, entrepreneurial employees.

      Cons

      Business model is dying a death by a thousand cuts. Attempts to transform the company into a IT and marketing consultancy sit in an uneasy tension with current syndicated research business model. Incredibly bloated and silo-ed organization where analysts act as mercenaries instead of teammates. Management notoriously unwilling to make investments in talent and product.

      Cons
