      Great job, but very intense and competitive

      Pros

      Fascinating job with significant responsibility. The company has a great reputation, training and systems to support its analysts. You have the opportunity to become an opinion leader in your field.

      Cons

      Very intense. Most analysts are saddled with consulting quotas they will not be able to fulfill and in the downturn this is resulting in negatively competitive atmosphere. The remaking of the company into a horizontally-focused consulting company is a work in progress and is working better in some places than others.

      Pros

      Easy going people, good level of transparency and great place to learn and build skills initially in your career.

      Cons

      Forrester has a Good Culture when you initially join however get ready to have a career stuck in a time freeze wit little to no opportunities for growth/advancement. you feel its all just about the analyst and there is little scope for others to play. While itas understandable as analyst are key to business it ends up creating a org. structure where employees cant grow.

      Pros

      The people are great and I still am great friends with many of my former teammates. The fact that Forrester is also respected in the industry helps in terms of resume and network building. I was also able to interact with many clients and help solve their problems.

      Cons

      There is a lot of vagueness around promotions. They also blatantly mislead about pay and fairness in terms of compensation is non existent. Do not do many advanced analysis and it is basically survey crosstabs all day long.
