      Pros

      decent vacation and time off policy company is growing

      As with many companies that started small, there are many whole families that work at Fort Wayne Metals. Nepotism was a constant problem when I worked there, and hiring was far from diverse. The best talent would often be easily headhunted by other companies, as salaries are low at FWM for the region, and parental leave policies are not up to par for companies on the forefront of recruiting.

      Pros

      Good attempts at employee engagement. On par with most high end companies for benefits.

      Cons

      Old school buddy buddy network. Low flyers who have risen beyond their skill set get recycled into same positions. Very destructive to modern employee engagement and expectations. Company underpays salary employees. Whatever level you come in at you can’t rise more than 10%.
