The team in general work hard and look after each other The job and team were incredible when I started, however 80% of the great staff have been forced out/decided to leave, usually due to difficulties with management, competitive pay or the corporate politics Periods of good progression opportunity

Cons

Workplace politics are rife - certain staff are given preferential treatment, while others are being professionally hindered, or disregarded, despite working hard and delivering quality work Very corporate - on-site management say they value their employees but treat staff like a commodity/as replaceable. Priorities are wrong - employee welfare is placed well below everything else Periods of instability and low morale outweigh periods of progression and increased opportunity.

I have over 20 yrs of monitoring experience monitoring clinical trials; It has been an absolute pleasure to work monitoring Phase 1 Clinical Trials, which is my passion, at Fortrea with an absolute wonderful manager. Ms. Maria Batista, my Line Manager, does not micro-manage me. If for some reason she needs to provide me with any input of something that I did or need to improve, she does it in the kindest way possible. I am 71 yrs old with good health and plan to stay working for Fortrea until I stop working, which is not going to be so soon.

Cons

Well: this is something that I believe should improve: I worked for Merck Sharp & Dohme pharmaceutical for over 15 yrs and CRAs working for Merck were an asset to the company. Fortrea's employee should be honored to work for Fortrea and feel like an asset, especially if they have a good performance and do their job in the best of their knowledge and ability. While working for Merck one year I received a $13.000 bonus, incredible: we felt important to the company, really special. We work hard, we love where we are working, or else we would not be here, and we like to be compensated. Bonus amount need to improve.
