Pros

Health, Dental, Vision coverage is decent

Cons

Forced all employees to relocate or quit to Deerfield, IL. Used it as a way to do layoffs without using the word layoff. Teams are operating with bare minimum coverage. Very high expectations of new employees with no formal on boarding. Due to continued cost cutting, profit sharing and 401K matches have gone by the wayside. Bonuses could be next if they arent already gone. CEO doesn't care about employees, just strong metrics for the board and control over employees. It was made very clear that employees are expendable and that knowledge and loyalty doesn't matter.

Pros

Not many. It's a paycheck. That is about it.

Cons

After forcing people to move to Chicago in order to keep their jobs, executive leaders decided to offshore several critical, non-manufacturing functions to Mexico. They are in the process of moving even more American jobs to Mexico, and are using AI to replace still OTHER job roles (such as consumer service). In a recent meeting, leaders talked about how we need to work harder to "maximize shareholder value," all while people are losing their very jobs for that "value to shareholders." It's disgusting and should be illegal. The constant chaos and change is exhausting. There is no care for employees, only dollars. There is no clear vision. The execs are making fear-based decisions, The HR team is unorganized and old fashioned (no clear career paths, promotions take literally YEARS to approve, all while we are told to move faster). Benefits are expensive. I could go on. And now there's a new CEO. Except he's been on the Board for years and hasn't done a thing to help when in that position . I doubt he'll bring jobs back to the States and calm the chaos.

Pros

Friendly coworkers, decent work/life balance, lots of extra 3rd party benefits.

Cons

Frequent organizational change. Product management is lackluster. Healthcare plan gets worse and more expensive every year. No company equity or stocks.
