      Great place to get to practice medicine

      Pros

      Diverse team of mission driven individuals across the company. Start up - very different than the traditional setting of healthcare. Always changes and working to find the best way to deliver exceptional quality care. My teammates are truly incredible (intelligent, kind and a pleasure to get to work with - really)!

      Cons

      It's a dynamic workplace where a lot is changing all the time and need to be adaptable to those demands/changes. Member (patient) care and doctor sentiment are highly prioritized when navigate and deciding on said changes.

      The Most Meaningful Work I've Done in My Career

      I've practiced medicine for many years and volunteered in underserved settings around the world and in the US and I can say without hesitation that Forward is the most meaningful work I've done in my entire life. We have the smartest, most mission-driven people you can imagine working on one of the world's most important and challenging problems- how to scale high quality healthcare to everyone. Where else do you get to work with doctors, engineers, designers, and experts in AI to build a new kind of healthcare system that actually has the potential to reach everyone in the world?

      Cons

      Startups are not for everyone- in fact they're not for most people. You need very high levels of commitment and an exceptional ability to get things done to make a real impact here at Forward. But changing the world requires hard work and sacrifice- no other way to do it.

      - Raise each year at Forward - Annual development and learning stipend to spend on courses, grad school applications, etc. - Great company culture

      - Communication between HQ and clinical sites is a bit more difficult - Often work more than 40 hours/week
