working from home is the only pro with this company.

Cons

The level of communication is awful here. When I requested a shift change to have Sundays off, they changed my schedule for one week and after that, it went back to the same schedule as before. I was constantly pressured to work overtime hours from coaches even though I clearly made it known that I could not work additional hours because I was in school. They go back on their word and say one thing, but do something else. THE PAY METHOD IS HORRIBLE!!!!! I set up direct deposit from day one and had nothing but issues in receiving my pay. During my training, several of us had to receive pay cards because our pay was so behind and I am still waiting on my two paychecks to this day!!!!

Nice co-workers, nice trainer, not the worst call center I've worked at, lots of time between calls (Abbott campaign).

Cons

At the end of the day, it's still a call center, and you still have to deal with angry customers, KPI expectations (no matter how much they tell you certain ones don't matter - not true), middle management that sides with upper management, corporate bureaucracy, low pay, etc. In addition to these, Internet access is tightly restricted to only those sites needed for work, print material is not allowed on the call center floor (no books), and all belongings must be stored in a small locker or in your car. Can't sign up for benefits during work hours because the website is blocked. You just have to remember to do that on your own time at home. Also, job description said no outbound calls, but that turned out not to be true. And boss once told me to stop complaining to my co-workers, and if I wasn't willing to do that, I could leave. I don't like it, but I get that for on the call floor or in work chats - but I didn't think he had any business telling me what I could or couldn't say in the break room or outside of work.

So I got fired for having what felt like pneumonia I was⁸ so sick cudnt even hold my head up and it was Friday around 7 730 bc I worked 11am to 10pm so that was the first time since I had been feeling bad enough to where I needed to go lay down. So then sat was my normal day off so I lasted in bed all day sat. Well Sat night around 6pm I sent for my mom to get me to the emergency room well turns out I had fever infection sinusitis and it was in my chest the congestion was unreal so diagnosed with that plus had a 4 day excuse from doctor and plz keep in mind I'm so sick I can't hold my head up so my bf sent the excuse along with my paperwork over via text so that was Sunday around 9am -11 but then here comes Monday I get a text from my boss saying call me ASAP so I did just that so he was really polite and said yes HR is letting u go for the time you've been missed and then he said I'm sry if this has inconvenienced u in any way. So that's how much they care about their Employees. I was without words😞

Time & Attendance policy should be better! Especially after a year and a half smh...
