Company trying hard with a niche product in a very competitive market. The team was collaborative and supported each other. Activities organised to bring the team together.
Cons
Product is difficult to sell at enterprise level and some markets are no go because of the lack of marketing strategy. The team was good, but it was too much close and the idea of family at work was toxic at some stage. Some SDRs were assigned markets outside their expertise and it took management time to realises that market culture understanding is a plus, but too late for some who left. Unclear career path with no support or upskilling for next stage, and promotions take long and with little guidance into the new roles. It just feels like nobody knows what they are doing; it’s just trial and error, and learn as you go.
