Pros

Free food, flexible working hours, working from home, fantastic office, medical insurance, maternity and paternity leaves, good work life balance to an extent depending upon the project you are in.

Cons

Product team I worked with is just below par. Leaving aside a few new folks, no one in the team has experience in building products and the entire team is frustrated for the same. The team has seen two senior people leaving at the same time but still no questions were raised and I am sure many more quality people will leave Fractal just because of this insane leader and it's toxic followers. Seems much like dictatorship where a sub par leader is been leading a group of people heading in no direction. I do not know how Srikanth or other investors are turning blind towards it. No output in terms of the product or the engineering. This product team is hurting the brand value of Fractal and is putting to flames the people first policy. People just cannot call themselves as Startup or agile without having the culture of a startup or the eagerness to grow and succeed.

Breach of trust

Pros

Great culture, friendly colleagues.

Cons

Salary differs a lot especially in the apex group. It is not based on the value that one brings to the table. Lateral hires / people close to EXEC are being paid way more than the others (how does one explain a variation of 10-15 lakhs at the same level). This is leading to a breach of trust and discontent. This is precisely the reason salary bands are not made public for the apex group (size is greater than 100 and hence there should not be any privacy issues). Company in the field of analytics is failing to understand such a simple logic – market realities are fine but do not penalize the existing set of people. Don’t assume that the differences are not known, if it is not corrected soon the same would show up in work and hence business would suffer hugely. Similarly, there is again no rationale or transparency behind allocation of ESOPs. Some of the great EXEC members have ridiculously given more to their favorite people within apex. Why can’t the company make its stance clear? One key objective is accumulation of wealth (amongst others) and the same is getting mowed down by mindless arrogance and high handedness of senior management.

Pros

-No tracking of any work or anything rather. -It's just a joy ride for the high-level executives

Cons

-If you are mid or low level employee, don't even think about joining. - This company is only good for the people who can please this insecure, narcissistic CEO -No real growth or work.
