Pros

1. Flat hierarchy 2. Transparent review and appraisal procedures 3. Some of the data scientists are incredibly good at their job and are technically very sound. 4. Amazing Learning and Development team that fosters a culture of taking up new courses via partnerships with MOOC platforms, workshops, and incorporation of learning credits into the appraisal programme

Cons

1. Lack of deep learning projects 2. A growing inclination of management towards taking up clients and projects that pay well, instead of projects where there is risk and innovation, especially in the deep learning and AI space 3. Limited mobility in terms of switching teams 4. Limited flexibility in choosing what project one gets assigned to

Many Super work pressure (be ready to slog for 13-14hrs) Zero appreciation from management (even if you are appreciated by client) Zero transparency from upper management (CEO tries to be as transparent as he can) Very high attrition rate

Pros

Work life balance as you would be doing sub-standard work all the time Flexible work timings Work from home option (claimed to be there although it depends a lot on your manager)

Cons

- Pathethic leadership - Too much micro management and very little scope for growth - My manager writes each and every discussion on an email. Every little verbal discussion comes in an email (when we sit almost very close to each other in the same office). - Sub standard work where they claim to be advanced analytics and harping stories around AI but are just doing general BI work - No competency framework in place to help new employees understand what it takes to get to the next level - when asked what it takes to get to the next level to my manager - the answer was "how well you dress, how you talk "... that's it! - No guidance around your own professional development and career aspirations - Non-technical leaders with good degrees from premier institutes but not very strong PMO skills due to which they have being losing accounts. In my past year one year , I have seen multiple engagements getting scraped as either the product that was delivered to the client was not something they could use
