      1) Good place to get your foot in the door of the immigration field since they can train you even if you have no previous experience in the field. 2) Clear career trajectory ladder 3) Lots of level of review from attorneys and senior paralegals

      Cons

      1) Not a lot of opportunity for upward mobility 2) High turnover rate 3) High, high caseload volume (they expect quantity over quality work) 4) Lots of burnout

      Overworked, Underpaid

      Pros

      Attorneys you work with are great and knowledgeable for the most part.

      Cons

      Overworked - unreasoable amount of cases distributed/assigned to caseworkers, unreasonable expectations for deadlines, no work/life balance, grievances are not taken seriously by management/HR and just pushed to the side, disorganized management, management does not provide guidance with questions.

      Pros

      Offices can be a fun environment, handed a lot of responsibility, a good place to decide if this is the legal path is for you, I have truly learned a lot. If you like to keep your head down, clock in and out and be down with your day and can leave stress at the offices you will be fine.

      Cons

      There is so little to grow - after like 3 years there is nowhere else to go, the pay is much lower than industry standards, its VERY stressful and leadership doesn't really have a good read on the pulse of the office to see that teams are drowning in work
