Pros

Great work atmosphere - I've never had such a positive environment in which I truly admired and got along with everyone in my office. There's a lot of potential to move up in the company if you do well.

Cons

I was in a unique position because I was hired in an office abroad. I was the only American in the office and was being paid wages that were normal in that country - which is about 3x less what I would have made doing the same thing in the U.S. and a barely livable wage for that city. I stuck it out for a few months for the experience, but after a performance review in which I was told I was doing an amazing job but would not receive the raise I requested, I left.

We have the chance to work with people from all around the world; We have contacts with big companies; Fragomen is a multinational company with visibility on the immigration field.

Cons

In Brazil we do not have an IT department; Salary could be raised; Some protocols in Fragomen are not necessary.

Pros

Firm is extremely friendly for newcomers and level-entry positions. Managers and attorneys are nice, patient and willing to help. Co-workers are equally as helpful. There is a nice work-fun balance and which makes the environment a lot less stressful.

Cons

The pay could be better.
