Amazing, Challenging, Rewarding

Pros

Coming from a small boutique firm to the large firm of Fragomen was quite a challenge (even with 5 years of experience and being a law grad), but the support I've received has been tremendous in the 6 months I've now been here. Tons of training and guidance, tons of support, a true team atmosphere. Benefits and pay are great.

Cons

Protocol, process, and procedure can be a bit overwhelming for a while, so don't be afraid to ask as many questions as needed and reach out for constant support.

Pros

I currently work remotely for one of the offices in California. Honestly this job has been so great. I've worked many jobs across the Immigration Law spectrum, from Immigration Court (Asylum/Detainees) to Entertainment Immigration Law (O-1, P-1, EB-1, etc.) and this job is teaching me PERM. I enjoy the work flow and the system is efficient. Most firms lack the resources to execute the work well, but Fragomen has everything you need to be great and not overwhelmed within your job. If you aren't exposed to the Immigration sphere and the workload, I understand how it might feel overwhelming but if you ask for help and questions you should be able to learn so much and keep up.

Cons

One of the cons for this positon is that you might be asked to step in for a lower level paralegal because of the lack of understanding they can sometimes have. It is okay but it can sometimes add to your caseload.
