Pros
Great exposure to a variety of immigration matters and top clients. The repetition and high workload will make processes sink in and become second nature. Good social vibe if you are young and have no responsibilities so can stay late in the office and then go for a drink. Find a manager that likes you and watch your career progress.
Cons
Politics. With so few opportunities for progression and no clear pathway and no proper HR department given the size of the company, its' depressing how everyone tried to ingratiate themselves to one of the managers. This is honestly the way to go but f you cannot stay back late just once, it could go against you so be careful. Burnout is high, turnover high and tempers highly frayed. Profit is squeezed out of the staff. Shiny from the outside and worth joining. But you will be a dried out husk by the time you leave, and you will leave!
