Pros

An OK place to start if you have no experience working at a law firm. Pay was fair.

Cons

-No training at all. -Incredibly boring, repetitive work. -Senior staff is complacent and is allowed to coast which is likely a product of the incredibly high turnover. -As other reviews have mentioned, the senior staff has little fiefdoms throughout the office which leads to a very toxic environment for newer staff members and attorneys don't care enough about their staff to do anything about it. -No one seemed to take accountability for anything. I've never seen more people thrown under the bus than at this firm. -Not a lot of room for professional growth and development. -Poor overall leadership.

Pros

The location I worked at had a wonderful HR manager and therefore, morale was very high. Significant care was taken when planning for events associated with birthdays and other celebrations. Additionally, HR was willing to hear concerns of employees and act when necessary. There were also training opportunities offered frequently, which was helpful considering the complicated nature of immigration. Fragomen offered a fair number of vacation and sick days. Expectations on administrative policies were very clearly laid out and if there was any misunderstanding, the HR manager was ready to jump in and help.

Cons

Significant amount of nepotism in the worst possible way. Employees that were promoted were often the ones that had been there the longest, rather than those that worked the hardest. While these things are not mutually exclusive, it seemed that recognition was given to those who did not necessarily work the hardest or have the best quality work, but who had been there the longest.

An unpleasant place to work.

Pros

Generous salary and benefits for an entry level position. This a good place to work in order to get experience on your resume or save up some money before heading to law school. The attorneys are fun and friendly.

Cons

The paralegals are generally rude and miserable people who think they are superior to all other administrative staff. If you are under the age of 30, prepare to be treated like a "kid" who is a complete idiot.
