Pros

Easy interview, decent starting pay for job-seekers in the Richmond area as of 2021, good for a short-time gig during peak

Cons

You will not receive any training at all if they are too busy to bother. The group in my orientation was taken directly to the production floor and told to shadow other employees who are not getting compensated for training you, so your knowledge depends directly on what that person knows/is willing to show you and their attitude about being forced to train random people. The person I was told to shadow had been there less than one month also without formal training. Everything I learned there was based on watching others and being corrected only after the artwork became damaged. Most people on the floor have no idea what's going on, or are on their way out. There is no communication between management and the production line. HR is unresponsive and unhelpful, even during emergencies. Good luck trying to reach anyone in the building if something happens to you where you can't make it in. The point system is strict. If you are even one minute late, you will be pointed and have to ask HR to remove it. You will be expected to come in during extreme weather and pointed if you leave or call out (in the office positions, you'll be allowed to stay home/work from home). This company does not care about its production line employees whatsoever. The turnover rate is insane for this reason. It's a short-term gig to save some cash for most. If you have any respect for the arts, do not work with this company. It will destroy your passion, and they don't care about your experience in the field. All that matters here is that number goals are met regardless of quality. Production has no proper training methods and original art is constantly being damaged. Employees that ask for training are ignored or told to just shadow/figure it out. You are literally just a number here to get as many orders done as possible, so most people leave or quit after peak season. BEWARE! The only reason I gave this company 2-stars is because I have only seen this one location. Those who don't work on the actual production line seem like they are well taken care of.

Pros

Snacks Free water Free food (some times)

Cons

Management doesn’t know what they’re doing which means the worker bees are in for a ride till management figures it all out. They also look for petty excuses to get on to you. The custom art that gets received through the mail is almost always getting damaged (if not lost) and still being sent back to customers- how embarrassing. Plant A and Plant B....... lol Shipping is the place where almost everyone wants to be at since there’s more slack. So yes, favoritism exists here. If you’re still thinking about working here, just start reading from the beginning of the “cons” section again just so it settles in.
