Pros

Some really nice people are still left

Cons

When I started there everyone had done the job, knew what was entailed. They were replaced by “managers” with MBA’s and/or consultants - lost the family and we’re all in the together feel. Managed by numbers. Senior management is out of touch All politics

Pros

The amount of people and genuine connections you make at this company is pretty incredible. Not only do you get to work alongside great people, you also will meet people along the way who make this industry so great to be apart of. I made some incredible connections and long-lasting friends here. As long as you are ready to ask questions and learn the ins-and-outs, you will find yourself gravitating to the employees who are willing to help you along the way.

Cons

The one down-side is an outdated manager who has been there for a long time. When I took the opportunity to get a promotion, it mean't changing leaders. Many current employees warned me of what this could mean, based on her history. I figured I would still take the opportunity, and give it my best shot. I stayed cordial, attentive, and tried my best. It resulted in being separated from the company by her. She continuously micro-managed me and always questioned my work integrity. It really made me feel angry and lost sometimes, but I always relied on my present teammates to help guide me and stay ahead of my work. Unfortunately, it lead to her accusing me of not following a company policy that I wasn't aware I was breaking. They instituted a mobile clock-in system and she brought me down for time theft. I wasn't a time thief. I used to work off the clock and not account for my hours, since she demanded every minute be approved by her first. It got to the point where I didn't even want to ask her sometimes, in fear she would keep questioning my work. Since her physical presence at the office began to be un-predictiable, it was hard to ask permission or advice on how to handle constant client needs outside of my scheduled hours Instead of really understanding that, she gave me no warnings, no slaps on the wrist for sometimes taking calls a little early, and separated me. I realized how toxic managerial style is, so I realized I didn't deserve to be under someone like that. If she really cared about me she would've approached me first and inquired. She instead labeled me as a thief and took away my opportunity within the company. I can't explain what that felt like to have one person have it out for me, when multiple staff and peers reached out to me in shock.

Pros

Honestly the only pro I can think of is the other people working with you.

Cons

Management at any level is horrible, they put up a front of being green but really they waste a lot of reusable materials, benefits have a lot of catches to them and aren’t as great as they look on paper, etc etc
