Pros

Up until COVID, job security was good and the work is always interesting.

Cons

Progressing slowly - but very much a place where women do the work and men get the credit. If you're a women - work life balance is not something to hope for. Expect to do more and get paid less. If being called names like sweetheart, sugar or honey bothers you - this may also not be the place for you.

Pros

Wonderful values and thoughtful leadership. Shrewdly managed from a corporate level. Much of the cronyism and nepotism has been phased out over the past 10 years, and the company culture has benefitted greatly from it. Not always easy to rise within the ranks but hard work pays off if you treat your customers right.

Cons

Industry totally decimated by Covid. Company has the capabilities and wherewithal to pivot succesfully to the virtual event sphere, but lots of layoffs/furloughs due to vanishing revenue streams.

Pros

Surprisingly to be such a big corporation, they're very family-oriented. You come in contact with so many people in the field and all of them provide a sense of community. I enjoyed my time there, had the opportunity for growth and training. Glad I got opportunities to travel.

Cons

The schedule can get overwhelming at times, show season keeps you busy. There is no such thing as "no" when it comes to new business, so you have to find a way to male it work.
