Pros

You work side by side with great people every day, and for a large company, management does a really good job of appreciating the employees.

Cons

Internal communication is sometimes lacking, and office politics unfortunately sometimes come into the mix, but that probably happens in a lot of large operations. Overall, no real complaints.

Pros

The employees and people that make this company going

Cons

EVERYTHING is a con in this company! This place is miserable and the management is deplorable. The current state of the company reminds me of the final days of Jim Jones and The Peoples Temple. In the beginning it was all beautiful and then overnight everything changed. I'm not drinking the kool-aid anymore...

Freeman Response

Thank you for your feedback. I am confident that we have already started to “take a step back, pause and observe the current state of the company”. As Freeman has grown rapidly over the past few years, it has become apparent that we just can’t keep doing things the way we have always done them. Staying true to our core value of innovation, we have begun the effort to streamline how we work and make the experience for our customers seamless and efficient. This is a rather significant change for our 90-year-old company as we pivot to better serve our customers, and like with any change, there is sometimes a period of disruption and some discomfort. Much like growing pains, we expect these disruptions to be short-lived. We are diligently working hard to make your job and your experience better, and to continue growing and being a successful business for our customers and our employees.

Pros

Many business leaders are knowledgeable and willing to help

Cons

-Pay has historically been under market -Sr Leadership in CFO group is relatively new (ask why if you are interviewing) -Significant turnover in CFO group (ask why in interview) -Often a toxic environment. High level of politics and back-biting -Sr leadership is often inexperienced at their jobs and certainly inexperienced in leadership skills -I can’t name a single person happy with their job in the CFO group hereby -Many experiences of poor communication
