Pros

Great benefits, nice people. Corporate office is nice, but the building is in a not-so-nice area of Dallas.

Cons

We are running out of room. Leadership, especially in HR, is more interested in pushing their agenda than listening to the workers affected by their decisions. Employees are sitting on top of each other and squeezed into cracker box cubicles, yet expected to still "exceed expectations" and provide "excellent customer service." Employees are expected to do more with less.

company and industry in transition...

Pros

Freeman has a solid culture and foundation and a ton of potential to break into new markets and transform face to face marketing. Opportunities in digital and data analytics are huge. Company is attempting to grow its footprint in the corporate sector and rehabilitate the somewhat stagnant association industry which comprises the majority of its core business.

Cons

The Freeman culture is quite old school and conservative which means change and innovation is slow and bureaucratic. A fair bit of inside hiring and friends of friends in leadership positions that might be better filled by outside perspective and talent. Not a lot of transparency and not a culture that supports open discord, honest feedback or challenges to authority.

Pros

Very routine tasks. New equipment. "Generally" nice people.

Cons

Poor management & pay, NO proper training of corporate systems, stringent rules per bathroom breaks, lunch. Expected to work OT. No balance of work/life. Under staffed group that is burned out.
