Cons

slow slow slow summers, no life outside of work, lateral promotions are the only way to promote.

Pros

Rewards employees more so than other companies. Took us to a rooftop Cubs game with food and drinks paid for, lots of employee appreciation activities.

Cons

Hours can be long, as with any trade show job. Management has their favorites in every department and it is obvious.

The culture at Freeman is its best asset

Pros

It's a family-owned company and that brings many benefits with it. Culture is amazing, collaborative, friendly and hard working. Benefits are good in general and opportunities for growth seem to be clear to many people. Their global presence makes it a fantastic platform to work in many different places and countries.

Cons

It's such a large company that sometimes that doesn't help easy communication, process and systems integration. Benefits are good but they could be better and more competitive with Bay Area companies. There is always a tremendous amount of work and you get to work long hours but on the positive side is fun.
