While no company is perfect, at least Freenome tries to face its shortcomings and make improvements. Outstanding funding, mission, and people.

Cons

Some teams are stronger than others and there are some growing pains.

The pay and benefit are good. Google food and facility.

Cons

Amateur-level science and product. There are many manager-wannabes without adequate scientific training and experience. They can be very arrogant and condescending but, unfortunately, also hold some tribal knowledge. The company is on a very tight timeline, so there is no time to solve issues, which the amateurs created, that will undoubtedly backfire in the future.

Pros

Great culture with amazing people who are mission-driven with a purpose to impact patient lives. The commercial team is filled with highly energetic talents but are servant leaders who work well on a team and collaborate cross-functionally. Fast pace and lots of fun to be a part of such a fast pace growing organization. A hidden gem. Hard to find a culture of talented people, but a culture where everyone is generally very kind.

None that I can think.
