Pros

People I worked with were wonderful, good pay, long term employment, good benefits. Safety was a top priority.

Cons

High up in the mountains of Colorado - so - lots of snow in winter. Raises were sometimes very hard to come by even when you do a great job.

Pros

Great benefit package, bonus program, and competitive salary. Work is demanding but good performance is rewarded.

Cons

Culture is very traditional. Need more openness to alternative work schedules, i.e. telecommuniting, 4 work day 10 hours/per day work work.

Pros

Freeport really cares about the safety of its employees. If that's not reason enough to work for them, the pay is really great as well as the benefits.

Cons

Sometimes with these big companies a lot of politics make things more difficult. Not necessarily our nation's politics but just more like corporate politics and favoritism. Also, the copper industry relies heavily on the world's production.
