Pros

If you want to get your foot in the door in terms of gaining insurance experience, this is the job for you. They pay for licensing, you get knowledge about the ins and outs of insurance, and along the way, you learn about sales and selling the product to prospective customers which is pretty cool.

Cons

At interview they’ll match your pay grade with your last job, but after 3 months will knock you back down to $11. How you get paid? Either you make a certain amount of commission in a pay period, OR you get your hourly, not both. Secondly, your commission gets divided on how many hours you’ve worked. Third, that $395 you’re charging? You don’t get all of it. You probably will get maybe ...$50 dollars of it? Approximately. Broker fees? Why have them in the first place? Company will tell you to put your fees at $395 so regardless if a customers monthly is 47 for liability, they will tell you to start at $395 down payment PLUS whatever the company is asking for. And there no residuals. The insurance companies? I wouldn’t put my own worst enemy with these companies. The takeaway? This company is ONLY GOOD TO GET YOUR FOOT IN THE DOOR. FOR THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY Do not stay with this company for more than a year. It doesn’t provide any sort of stable paychecks, unless you’re really willing to put in the work. Even then, management is super unorganized, the company culture is bleak at most, coworkers are alright, and there’s a definite lack of communication between employees and upper management.

Pros

Your employed and that’s it is.

Cons

This company took over and started firing everyone, tenured and amazing people. They then lied to everyone left about pay changes leaving no time for preparation. They do not value their employees or customers. They are belittling and deceitful.Terrible place to work.

Pros

My branch manager is a sweetheart who is a seasoned industry professional and wants her employees to succeed but is REAL with us that the bonus structure is rigged against us intentionally. appreciated her honesty

Cons

I cannot believe I fell for this company’s promises that compensation would be bountiful and based on a bonus structure with a steady salary attached. Boy was I WRONG. This company has no business posting 65-150k salary for any agent broker position and blatantly lie to prospective agents in the interview process. This company gets away with literally paying you minimum wage while agents are expected to bust their chops to sell and bind 41 policies a month. Literally the most dishonest interview process I’ve had the displeasure of undergoing in the 20 years I’ve been a working member of society . DONT WALK RUN RUN FROM THIS SHADY, DISORGANIZED and OVERALL TERRIBLY RAN COMPANY. They may pay to train you but the training is lack luster to say the least and delegated at another office from the one you will be working at . They keep you in minimum wage prison, basing their IMPOSSIBLE bonuses off of 15 day interval ( as opposed to Sales industry standards of 30 ) making it twice as hard to attain the bonus pay, it is common knowledge amongst the employees that the company intentionally crashes your key essential software at the beginning and end of the month so you’re often left without the means to sell. This company is creative in finding ways to sabotage your selling capacity and overall leave you feeling Duped and lied to . Runnnnn as fast as you can from this pointless job , that will leave you anxious broke and run down .
