      FreshDirect has got to be one of the worst places I’ve ever worked. It baffles me that a company that relies heavily on the delivery of their products, treat their transportation department like garbage. From the unsafe trucks to the unprofessional and disgruntled employees (management included), there isn’t much to like. There’s no support. It’s too negative. The drivers are treated and paid poorly. Everyone loves throwing each other under the bus. No sense of unity. No sense of direction. Metric system is ridiculous, redundant and useless. Poor routing system. Laughable benefits. No security. But to be fair, you can get a pack of ground beef for $2.00. Still not worth it.

      People leave bad management, not good jobs. Management here is the absolute worst. Do not even think of taking your concerns to HR, they will not keep anything you say confidential. They overwork you and will have you on the verge of having a mental breakdown. This place is not worth it, nor do management and higher ups value your sanity. RUN FAR FAR AWAY.

      Not organized at all. Management runs around like chicken with no head. The lack of culture is ridiculous, at a meeting the CEO was asked to address it and he got lost in his own words while trying to explain the company's "culture" or lack of to be realistic. Management looks down on employees, they make decisions that directly affect your work from a day to another without considering what you have to say. They also lie in your face. If you value professionalism at least just a little avoid this company.
