Pros

The insurance is adequate , but nothing to write home about.

Cons

It's a shame that the other reviews are so true, circus tricks, forced overtime with little notice , promised raises, which never come , just more bait and switch tactics . supervisors out of control , and HR's who could care less, but it's all true, and more. No Christmas bonus this year, yet they had money for a :management Christmas party , supervisors being allowed to treat employees any way they like , with no HR willing to stop them. There slogan seems to be if you don't like it here then leave, and they have been, like no other company I've ever seen before employees have being leaving in a tremendous turnover. Now lets not forget the new factory in Bethlehem, where the CEO says once your in, your in, no going outside on your breaks ...PERIOD ! Even though we punch out for lunch the half hour is on our time doesn't seem to matter . Of course there is no tobacco allowed on the property . If you like being locked up in a jail then by all means the new factory is the place for you. I always heard from people who have been there from the beginning they were a great place to work for..........what happened ! ? I also thought according to the new company policy they were no longer hiring anyone who smokes , or is it now they will take whoever they get.

Pros

Freshpet has excellent insurance, and is growing rapidly. The product IS amazing and worth being proud of. The employees are excellent people to work with, and driven to do the best they can.

Cons

Employees are locked into systematic abuse from management. The CEO visited and offered $100 bills to anyone that would do circus tricks. "Optional" overtime was forced on a couple employees who could not come in due to only finding out they had to work the weekend on thursday. They already had plans! The entire HR system is designed to turn people over and degrade employees. HR has designed a system of points to punish people for everything. Favoritism runs rampant with the supervisors and management. I found out that I was lied to no less than 15 times my first day by my supervisor. I was left waiting for 2 hours before anyone would even talk to me and give me my introduction. Fire drills were never mentioned in the entire time I was employed. I was punished for the behavior of someone else, nobody was interested in finding the truth of the matter, only assigning guilt. This is the worst place I have EVER worked.

Pros

The co-workers are great to work with as they have to deal with the same issues. The pay isn't bad and the health insurance is good also.

Cons
