Pros

I’m trying really REALLY hard to think of one... sorry can’t , and I’ve been thinking about it for 30 years.

Cons

There is not one thing Positive about working for Frito Lay, every year we all say the same thing, ...”it can’t get any worse”..... and it does. Anyone considering working for any Division of PepsiCo including Frito Lay (the worse one of them all) Take it from my personal experience... DONT! Or you will be very sorry. I’ve worked for them over 15 years, a revolving door at Disney land doesn’t turn as fast as the management does. Most leave because they are asked to make their employees (RSR’s) do the amount of work that’s actually so upsetting to them I’ve seen grown Men and Women Crying in their office! The upper management is so detached from what is going on in the company it’s amazimg, scary, sometimes even down right funny because you know whatever they are piping up inside their brains is sure to be a huge Train wreck two weeks down the road. What surprises me is the lack of common sense I guess is required to be of any management over a District sales ... if you have difficulty taking direction from anyone you deem to be basically an imbecile. This Job would not be for you. Because when the chips fall (pardon the pun). No matter who told you to do something it will always come down to, being YOUR fault.. like I said, it’s happened sooo many times it’s actually humorous now. Ok,so back to the Cons..over worked, under paid, no tools to make your job easier. The computers we use were outdated. A Year before we received them ! When they crash. (It’s your fault). And you will of course spend hours of YOUR own unpaid time to get it up and running again . Did I mention LONG hours ? If you did half of what they ask you to do ,you would be working 12 hours a day

Pros

When in the market you don’t have management breathing down your shoulder. The pay is alright for a single Person. But if you have a family don t count on it.

Cons

Time, fifty plus hours. Real overtime doesn’t exist. It’s all VROT. Not sure enough support.

Pros

Not having to sit in one place. Being able to be out of the building

Cons

Pay is so awful and the stress isn’t worth it. The crazy long hours, the lack of support from management. If you’re a woman or A minority you’re out of luck. People who care and do their job don’t matter. This company has a sickening way of molding employees into very unhappy & unhealthy people.
