Pros

The team approach was well ingrained, decent benefits, room to grow and some great people to work with. Rewards for self-starters and initiative, Some savvy Execs and Managers'

Cons

After the money, more focus needed on the customers in deed, not just word after the sale , which equals more money. A lot of management switches and lack of formal policies, procedures leading to fluctuating and reactionary changes and shifting directives was at times counterproductive.

Pros

Small company - you get to know everyone. Many dedicated and intelligent professionals. Flexible work hours. Room for creativity. Very friendly. Milpitas office was in a good location - close to restaurants and freeways.

Cons

Low pay for the industry, not a lot of opportunities for advancement; constant budget constraints means low raises and few perks. My supervisor was clueless, however, and did not even know what my job was. I was not sure what he did, as he was constantly walking around the office and making irrelevant conversation.

Pros

The people I worked with at FrontRange were fantastic. Management and staff were effective at working as a coherent team.

Cons

The vision for software development seemed to have an identity crisis. Sales numbers had a higher profile in the company than producing a quality product.
