Horrible place to work!!!

Pros

Flight benefits! And even those aren't great because they have the most screwed up system in place that allows people who are not even employees (eligibles) to travel and board before people who are actually full-time active employees.

Cons

Refuse to change. Stuck in their old ways, which has led them to bankruptcy many times over. Understaffed, WAY understaffed. Top management refuses to allow any department (besides Pilots and Flight Attendants) to hire the necessary people to support and run the airline. Every department is 1/2 staffed, and everyone runs around like a "chicken with their head cut off" because everyone is stretched to the breaking point, and has WAY TOO MUCH to do, and not enough time to do it. Everything is reactionary because no one can get ahead of the curve due to inadequate staffing levels. And the stress level for everyone is beyond belief! It is off the scale! And top management is blind and has no clue!

Pros

The people are awesome here for the most part. It really depends on what group you are in. The flight benefits are very useful if you enjoy traveling.

Cons

The pay is way below industry average. They give you more responsibilities than anyone can handle. Upper management is not open to any new ideas. They think they're always right and won't listen even if you know they're going to fail. When they do fail the blame is placed on others. Very negative environment and a lot of talking behind employees backs. Also lack of training. They throw you in without any guidance and expect you to be an expert right away.
