Pros

The health care benefits and the wages are great. Vacation time is also generous and we presently have good retirement benefits, but we have been in contract negotiations for a year now and the company wants to take these "frivolous" things from us.

Cons

The management is very concerned with the company reputation. They are sending emails asking for employees to post positive messages on glassdoor after they were ranked the third worst to work for. This is common practice. We are encouraged, even threatened, to put a positive spin on everything. Even if the ship is on fire and sinking we are expected to smile and keep our mouth shut. The end of a quarter coming up? Complete as many orders as possible whether they're done or not so the shareholders will see good numbers. Access lines declining? Install free second lines for the customers so we can fudge the numbers. As long as you keep your mouth shut and your work percentages high, management will leave you alone. You won't get any praise, but you'll be left alone. Let your numbers drop below the average though, heaven help you. You'll get threatened relentlessly with the worst shifts, getting your vehicle replaced with the worst in the fleet and even the dreaded PIP program. Once an employee is on the Process Improvement Plan he/she can expect the typical blacklist treatment from all salary employees and his/her boss reminding them daily that they are close to being terminated.

Pros

Good pay for area that's it.

Cons

First the company has to few service technicians to keep up with the work load in the summer our customers go up to two weeks of not having there problem fix due to lack of people. But they expect you sell as much as possible even though we don't have time to install. Our benefits keep getting worse each contract they take more and more away and we try to vote it down they come around with letters basically telling us people will be laid off. Worse of all is with the leadership we have the company will not be around long enough for me to retire. It's a wonderful feeling waiting for the axe to fall on you for someone else's incompetence at their job.

Pros

Not much to say that is good anymore.

Cons

Management has found every way possible to steal from its employees to fund their raises and bounces. (From your pay check, your health care and your life insurance.) If you are unlucky enough to work for a union shop, they have been bought off by the company, and also rape your pay once a month. Training on new job functions consists of a few sheet a paper thrown at you , and being told " You figure it out." If you don't you are written up and your job goes on the line. The Meteric they use to gauge your job performance is bases on corrupt data, and used to put pressure on you. Management was not given enough training to fully understand or jobs, and so does not know how long it takes. The employee survey, is rigged. Management blocks off time for you so they can monitor your system to see what is put down...and possibly change it. Management pressures you to do the charities they pick. Wanting you to use your own time and money, so Frontier can take the credit.
