Annual Redundancies and Zero Direction

Pros

Big budgets. Good marketing tech stack Lots of support. I learned a lot. I got to work with agencies very closely, more than I have with other companies. If I was a young marketer or sales rep., a great place to gain lot of experience and exposure.

Cons

The constant change in leadership grew tiresome. When I started it was a very international org, but became very USA centric last year. Since I began they have had annual redundancies just before Xmas. Very much everyone out for themselves, always someone to take your responsibilities from you. Lack of direction most of the time. Severe lack of sincerity - For example; (CEO) was presenting one of the All-Hands and as she came on camera, she said “I always love seeing all your faces!”. The issue with this is that it was a webinar format…she couldn’t see our faces…again, a serious amount of falseness and lack of sincerity that others lapped up and praised. I would not recommend for experienced marketers.

Pros

There are no pros for working for this company.

Cons

Leadership. Disorganised, frenetic workplace. Smoke and mirrors - full of pretence, focus changes all the time (daily). Work life balance. Lack of respect for employees. Leadership (it is worthy of noting here twice).

Pros

- Fully remote - Work life balance - Decent perks

Cons

- Layoffs happen nearly every 6-12 months - Lack of company culture and feeling severely disconnected - Leadership changes frequently and this creates issues for employees fully understanding and aligning with goals - Inexperienced management/ managers who lack emotional intelligence - Lack of consistent and clear company vision since leadership changes often and layoffs happen frequently
