As many reviews have mentioned, there have been layoffs multiple times during the past few years, so job safety is not assured.
As a Software Engineer, the standards leave much to be desired. The TypeScript/Nodejs backend side feels like Java developers forced to code in TypeScript and it really shows. Engineers lack motivation and are content with sub-par standards, and any suggestions for improvement is shot down with little explanation or not followed due to the "fast paced environment" not allowing building a robust codebase or even decent automation.
Lots of short sighted decisions from both Product (seemingly random initiatives) and Engineering (downright bad practices and rushing code/bad architecture/infrastructure just to get something in).
Huge blame game culture where when something goes wrong (which it will due to the lack of standards), executives/upper managements are itching to determine "problematic people" rather than problematic implementations, which makes this a very unfun work environment.
Just, seriously, don't get bamboozled like me and avoid this place. Even if the tech stack interests you, seek elsewhere - you will likely regress.
