GAF reviews

They are not family friendly. There are a lot of affairs and events that are supposed to be work related but really just drunks spending company money on alcohol and hooking up to have affairs.

So Gaf hired me through a Contractor. I was suppose to get $X an hour and Health Insurance. When it was time to get health insurance (It was a big secret) I could use it twice in 1 year and after that I had to pay out of pocket. That is not health insurance to me. I was jammed up becuase one of my children was sick. I could not go around and not have health insurance for my sick child. So I talked to the people at GAF they knew I was desperate for health coverage. They decided to be slimey and make me an offer that was $15k less then I was currently making. The excuse was that I get 401k and would be eligable for a yearly bonus. As far a: I am concerned you can not really figure that as compensation. They can not say anything about my work because it was excelent. It was so good that they tried to hire me fulltime. The whole thing with them offering me $15k less then I was making is very slimey to me. The day before they made me this offer they had reports come out with record profits for the year. ( I did the live stream I know) If I was offered a job as a contractor here I would not take it. If you do take it keep looking for another job and quit GAF after. Dont let these people play you. They will respond with something like "We are really concerned blah blah blah" They are not concerned they knownwhat they are doing. They keep doing it over and over.
