Pros

Relaxed, relatively easy labor, great starting pay and benefits, and work with some good people. This company is always trying to improve in many areas as well, and the FORCE program is a fantastic way for employees at all levels voices' to be heard.

Cons

The 2-2-3 schedule is not for everyone. It can be hard to adjust to, and I'd say some folks just can't adjust to it.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. We're happy to hear you appreciate the relaxed environment, competitive pay, and strong benefits. It's especially great to know you find value in our FORCE program as a way for employees to share their voices, as we're committed to making continuous improvements. We understand your perspective on the 2-2-3 schedule. We recognize that this type of shift pattern can be challenging to adjust to, and we appreciate your honest feedback. We'll keep your comments in mind as we evaluate our scheduling options to find the best balance for our teams. We also appreciate your input on communication and will continue our efforts to improve in that area.

Pros

Free bagel Thursdays. Summer Fridays. Employee group events well done.

Cons

GAF is the textbook example on how to tank employee morale. Take a walk around the office and it is full of stressed out, burnt out, fed up employees. We continue to do our work at a high level without any concern from top leadership. 3% raises are not keeping up with inflation. Movement is limited within the company. The move to 4:1 (or 7:0 if it were up to the outgoing and incoming CEO’s) is further limiting any semblance of work life balance. People are unhappy and it shows, and it’s not just the lower level employees who are fed up. Unfortunately the economy and job market are not favorable to find a new and comparable job so people are staying.
