Pros

Local staff was great and easy to work with.

Cons

When I was hired they were trying for a large pipeline project. After I was hired, it was obvious that they needed me for my resume and when they project was not won. I was left with little work. Tried to bring in work, but was given little support and was laid off within months - felt used.

Pros

benefits in the firm are good

Cons

Be careful to accept their offer, make sure they have enough backlog to support you. It seems it is their common practice to hire people based on the future projects they expect to win. If they didn’t win, they would let you go.

Pros

Variety of project types, ESOP program, Nice offices, good IT support.

Cons

Hierarchy puts all the power in a few Market Sector Managers (MSM), who tend to have poor management skills. MSMs only have the ability to bring in work, but are poor managers, or power hungry, or don't understand project management and/or engineering process.
