Pros
- Fairly easy, predictable work that doesn't require much thought - Somewhat lax management style - Very diverse environment, some of my coworkers were amazing - Given opportunities to correct mistakes before warnings or write-ups are made - Scheduling & location is very convenient for people who use the bus -Kept me active (I averaged ~15k steps a day) - Long lunch breaks
Cons
- Unempathetic management -Will accuse you of faking injuries on the job & providing counterfeit doctors notes - Discourages or will not allow you to write injury reports - Cut hours and increased the workload for everyone - Not only is sexual harassment not taken seriously, but management will continually schedule you with the accused harasser - Not much (if any) opportunity for upwards growth - Some coworkers do little at work, leaving other cleaners with an increased workload - Will be expected to train new hires and work multiple buildings with no added compensation - Whoever kept peeing all over the bathroom floor right before shift change
