      Pros

      GEI is a great place to work with many different fields of civil engineering represented throughout the company. It is a great place to collaborate between various market sectors and disciplines. Collaboration between offices and regions is done well.

      Cons

      Leadership and supervisors vary in quality between offices, from just “numbers” driven supervisors to ones that care about the employees. The group you are in can make a big difference in your experience. Overall, the leadership cares and values you as an employee but one bad supervisor can make it more challenging and less enjoyable.

Our goal is to identify, select, and cultivate a strong leadership team and offer many opportunities for learning and development of leadership skills. I encourage you to share your specific concerns so we can address them effectively. You may speak with anyone in your supervisor’s leadership chain, such as your Branch or Regional Operations Manager. You are also welcome to reach out to any leader on the executive team directly. Additionally, the People team is available to support you.
