Unrealistic expectations for completion of daily workload. Always being told to do overtime unpaid to complete daily workload. Dont care about employee's well-being if it affects daily/weekly numbers.

Being an auto damage adjuster for geico was a great job maybe even career about 5 years ago. Upper management has made a series of decisions in the past several years that has made it almost impossible for anyone to make a career out of this position. The root of all of upper management decisions comes down to the fact that they really don't trust their employees. The issues with this job is not writing estimates, dealing with shops, handling total losses or handling difficult customers. The issues with this job is trying to do all those things I just mentioned for a company that doesn't have your back. Geico has a very extensive hiring and training process. Of course there are underperforming, lazy and shady adjusters that need to be watched but they only make up less than 5% of adjusters. Every move is questioned and even your phone calls are recorded and graded.
