      Pros

      Continuous growth on both a personal level and business level. Strong vision, goals and a strategic plan in place to become the leader in logistics

      Cons

      We could improve on communication between shifts, this will allow everyone to be aligned and consistent with delivering messages to our teams. It can get really warm in the hotter weather but GEODIS motto is safety first. We go over hydrating, take small breaks, communicate if you aren't feeling well due to the heat

      Pros

      Company now has a global presence. Many opportunities for networking and growth. Hourly associates are held with very high regard...too high, in some cases. SOPs and field training are exceptional in most cases. Company vision and operational goals are appropriate for the current market.

      Cons

      Salaried associates are omitted from most, if not all incentives. Human Resources was less than engaged. Politics and drama run amok at most sites thus, allowing less-than-qualified associates champion projects and tasks. Management and administrative training are minimal, at best. Customers are too heavily involved with operations at most sites.

      Best Company I've Ever Worked For

      I can't say enough good things about Geodis. I am 53 and Geodis is truly the BEST company I have ever worked for. Employee's are the top priority at Geodis. I was hired as an Operations Supervisor and within 9 months was promoted to Financial Analyst. 3 out of 4 of new positions filled are with current employees. I actually look forward to going to work. Geodis has 14,615 employees and over 300 facilities in the US so the career opportunities are limitless. I am currently in Brentwood, TN at our Corporate Office for training and very impressed with how they handled all of our travel arrangements and how amazing all of the Managers have been. If I wasn't already convinced of having made the right decision by coming to work for Geodis this experience would have solidified it. Truly, truly the BEST company I have ever worked for!!
