Pros

One of the best parts of working at GEP is that you have broad exposure to so companies across many industries. All of the companies have one thing in common: They call on GEP for procurement expertise.

Cons

You have to be familiar with industry trends - for example, if you are in the Energy & Utilities business - you have to comply with government regulation rising operating costs, and an aging workforce. To be efficient in procurement, you must be adaptable and thrive in a dynamic atmosphere.

Pros

The great thing about GEP is the vast amount of knowledge you have at your disposal. The company is still relatively new; you cannot compare it to one that has been in existence for over 50-100 years. There is room for growth if you work at it. If you are looking for a normal 9-5 where you can get away with doing the bare minimum, this company is not for you.

Cons

At times the clients set unrealistic expectations, but management will do whatever it takes to meet it; including working long hours over the weekend.

Pros

Senior management is very approachable, They are very flexible when it comes to allowing you time for family issues, friendly office environment, the entry and junior level employees are firendly and eager to get along with others, wide room for growth in the company, good mentorship; there are people here who want to see you succeed whether within or without the company.

Cons

Office can seem a bit "empty" at times (but that goes with the nature of this type of consulting firm), vertical communication could use improvement as well as new hire training at the enry and junior levels.
